| ESCAPE AND EVASION MAPS
The cloth Escape and Evasion map was invented, by the British, at the beginning of World War Two, and designed to be issued to Aircrew, and Special Forces. They are extremely lightweight, and easy to conceal. Made of silk, or its synthetic equivalent, the cloth is undamaged by repeated folding, or becoming soaking wet. The maps can also be worn under clothing as an emergency insulation layer, or worn as a headcover in a hot climate. The following highly detailed maps are, 100% genuine British Army Issue, and are marked "RESTRICTED", and a 1950's print date. Would look superb framed as a display item. |
